Developmental Trauma and Attachment Injuries
You don’t want to throw your primary caregivers under the bus, but let’s face it- growing up wasn’t great.

SINGLE INCIDENT TRAUMA
It only happened once but you’ve not felt like yourself since.

Persistent Trauma
You compare yourself to those who suffered other types of trauma and say things like ‘I don’t know what’s wrong with me, it’s not like my life was as hard as theirs!’ …only your life was/is actually filled with loss, shame, distress, chronic health problems, or any number of negative circumstances.

Complex Trauma
You have been through many painful, continuous, even horrific things.

Eating Disorders
Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Collaboration with medical providers and Registered Dietitians, Referral resources, Assistance with higher levels of care, Referral to local and telehealth groups.

SELF-HARM
Our service is appropriate for transient thoughts of suicide without a plan and intention and for active, non-life-threatening self-harm behaviors.

ANXIETY
Generally treated using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and/or Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) Therapy.

SHAME
Everyone struggles with this...the thing you fiercely hide tells you you're spoiled, ruined; fundamentally flawed. In therapy shame is addressed with both compassion and bravery. We do not cope with shame, we eliminate it.
